The versatile SIMATIC ET 200SP Base Unit BU15-P16+A0+2B, bridged to the left with push-in terminals has been designed for use with the SIMATIC ET 200SP Distributed I/O system. With its small footprint, it is particularly well-suited for installation in small control boxes located close to industrial machinery.

The SIMATIC ET 200SP Distributed I/O system can be expanded with up to 64 I/O modules, which can be easily inserted in any combination. The availability and productivity of the machine are ensured by the capability of hot swapping modules and terminal boxes during operation.

The advantage of the ET 200SP system is in its ease of application, such as through the selection of the PROFINET connection technology via the BusAdapter, and tool-free wiring using push-in technology.
